Got to drive a '93 Stealth R/T once. My buddy had just finished overhauling the car for a customer and let me drive it. He said he'll never touch one again, but the twin turbo, four wheel steering, active aero, etc is amazing when it all works.
As for me, I scored a deal today on an 80k mile 4.0L for $300. If I'm lucky, the YJ will be on the road by Monday

Hopefully it stays that way. I still need a rear shaft for my new SYE, and I'm considering an AW4 swap since I need a shaft anyway.
I have a 32RH (TF999) 3spd. The AW4 is just over an inch longer and has the same ratio for gears 1-3, plus a .75 overdrive

Sprayed the crap out of the rear shock bolts, and took some pictures of yesterday's work.
The front is shifted over 1" but the fender on the DS is a little bent so it could only be 1/2"
I will take a frame measurement later today before attempting to fix it.

Got new fuel tank and just installed fuel pump and roll over check valves.... Now to install at 10pm and tomorrow it is finish the head job machine shop called today saying it was ready :-)

Mine isn't the twin turbo AWD, but it is a R/T, picked it up for $500, only paid $400 for my XJ
This is what the Stealth looked like when I got it
I haven't done anything to the body yet, all the work has been mechanical. I did put new rims and tires on it though, just haven't had time to take any pictures of it lately
The XJ looked like this the day I brought it home
After I started stripping off the flares and such to see just how bad the rust was. Frame was good, and the floors are really good so it is all external work.
I am more less ready to start cutting out the rust and welding in the new panels, just need enough rain free days in a row to get it all done at my slow pace

Ordered some more LEDs, ones for HVAC, overhead lights and floor lights. Also ordered some lug its. Supposed to be all one piece design. They're black too. Well see how long that lasts lol.

No, I don't lick fish.
Attempted to straight pipe my jeep over the weekend. Got as far as cutting the tack welds off the outlets and then cutting off the exhaust clamps. Muffler wouldn't budge. Then, I tried just cutting through the pipe to cut it off... battery on the sawzall was dead, backup battery was junk... and my compressor isn't big enough to keep up with the cutoff wheel. Gave it up for now.
You can see where the exhaust has been blowing out of the inlet and outlets of the muffler:
On the plus side... went to the "Jacked Up for a Cause" show on Saturday night here in Ocala. This month's show was benefiting Veterans... so there was a decent turn out of Military vehicles as well as the usual jeeps and trucks.
Inside of the comms truck.... owner said everything still works too.
Underneath the hood of the 5 ton...

I recall seeing a thread recently on here, I don't recall where, or I would post a link...but, I believe that bearing is non-serviceable, it's part of the shaft, although I do recall someone saying they were able to send it off to someone to have it rebuilt. Sounds like a lot of trouble to go through when you could just get the part...
I replaced my idler wheel/pully 3-4 years ago, I only had $10. works fine once I had to spray some lube behind it to stop squeaking ( a year ago?). still going - no squeak

And now I'm too involved to even let a lube shop change the oil for me...mostly because they'd rather tell me what's wrong [appreciate the list, although you missed a few things] than tell me what they put in.

Today I used up my curse allowance for the next 5 years
I was changing the rear shocks and none of the upper bolts broke off, that would have been simple. What I had to deal with was spinning nuts 
Talk about a near impossible spot to see to get a wrench on a nut
All that was just the passenger side. When I moved over to the drivers side and put the wrench in the lower shock mount the nut and threaded part of the stud fell off. That's right it fell off on the weight of a long handled 18mm wrench. The odd part is that there was no rust showing where it broke
My guess is that who ever put the shock on over torqued it to the point hat it was ready to let go and the weight of the long handled wrench was enough to snap it. Good thing it didn't let go while I was driving in home the day I bought it
Needless to say there was much more cursing involved, and then some more when I stripped out the drill making a 1/2" hole for the lower mount repair stud
After close to 12 hours I only have one shock mounted
Another oddity, and sign of the shoddy work that had been done on my XJ, the rear shock were different from each other. One is black and a little longer and the other is blue, and thinner. I didn't check the compressed lengths but I will tomorrow when I put on the other shock.I am so looking forward to doing body work and getting away from this suspension crap

today i only finished bolting up the t-case which some bolts aren't to easy to get to. but even more so this past week i removed the tranny which is a nsg370 swap milled the 88 renix sensor into the new tranny at the factory 88 10 o clock position, reinstalled the tranny and got it mounted back up to have it fire right up and run smooth. also then install t-case drive shafts and exhaust. now to order clutch hose and install slave cylinder. damn close to ready for a test spin.
