Mine had 240k on the clock. Prev owner had it for 75k miles and never did a trans flush. Fluid came out dirty so I dropped the pan and to inspect things and the screen was clean. A few drain and fills later and it is nice and ruby red. Unless your having problems out of the trans I can't see dropping the pan.

Took my car for a pre-winter wash to get all the fall tree crap off it. Admiring how shiny the wheels were and had an idea. The winter wheels on my '99 XJ see no love, and they could use some.
The Heep is going in for a full detail tomorrow. It's wheels are kinda rusty crusty. Also, the weather may turn nasty tomorrow, and it's a one-wheel-wonder. Decided to undo some of what I did, and put the summer wheels back on the '99. Took it's winter wheels and put them on the Heep, so they will get all shined up at the detailer tomorrow.

That's funny, there are vids out there that make it look so simple. I didn't realize how difficult this would be prior. It wasn't until I started searching about the dip stick tube that CF let me know the nightmare I'd set in motion.
Worst part is I have to do it again right now bc the gasket is leaking all over the driveway.
