Today I fabricated new cargo floor extensions and welded in a new quarter panel, unfortunately the job took longer than I thought and I ran out of light for a picture.
Tomorrow I will be grinding off all the excess weld

Swapped a few things around between my spare gauge cluster and the one that was in it, calibrated the tachometer and fuel gauge.

Changed squeeky belt and idler pulley. I'm finding the old cherokee to be the most mechanic friendly vehicle I've worked on in many years.

I actually did, and that's what caused the problem. The new stant cap fit very loose, and it caused a pretty good leak as things heated up.

bent my cap's tabs a little bit, fits much tighter, no more leak.

one of the reasons we love them. Damn near indestructible, and you can fix most anything on them with hand tools in the middle of the woods.
