Yeah do the next size up. Theres plenty of meat there for it, just dont go much deeper than the original holes. The alternative would be to add a good bit of rtv there and just get a big ol seal. I had to do the rtv thing, worked pretty well and didn't leak. Is there a year difference in the transmissions? If so you've got a bit of work left to do.
I would make the run to the city today, but my summer car came off the road last night and only has fire and theft on it for the winter, and my mother is using her car today so I can't grab it either The bolt store in the city isn't open tomorrow either.
Chances are I will just use some RTV so I can get the XJ in for a safety check this coming week and go get the M7 bolt later in the week. It is a front pan bolt and I think I will be able to get to it even after I get everything put back together and if not it will have all new exhaust so there will be no problem getting the down pipe out of the way, it is just a little anoying to not be able ot seal it all up in one shot

Well it was yesterday, but i changed out my hvac box because i broke it in multiple places 2 winters ago when i changed out my heater core. Last time it took me 2 full working days to finish it. This time with some help it took me only 4 hours. I have working heat again which is really nice.

Just filled it up and started it. No drips, no smoke.
Driving now and hoping....
Okay. Possible minor dripping, which means either minor gasket botch, or I reduced the leak to just the RMS.
I can live with this for a bit.

Just put the new one in with JUST the circuit board from my original and the new one still reads the same odometer reading as the old. The rest of the old parts are broken but I do have the circuit board from my replacement that reads 163XXX. I'm not going to do a write up because all you need is a Philips screw driver and time. Everything unscrews and screws right into place.

Replaced trE to pitman arm, filled washer fluid, relocated my IAC back to the TB, closed my hood, and checked my onboard gear. Ready for winter

My Anchor motor mounts lasted 8 months before I noticed the rubber was cracked and sleeve was loose.
Seems there is a design difference compared to other factory style mounts. The Anchor brand locates the bolt-sleeve higher in the mount and has much less rubber surrounding it.

Well...I pulled them out of the box today, and I gotta agree, the rubber on top of the mount is pretty thin. They may just go back, despite them being better than what came off the stroker motor...I'll wait to see what the mounts look like on my current setup when they come off to make the final call. Here's what came off the stroker:
