Spun it into a tree while doing donuts in the snow the other day. Woops. Popped the bead off the tire too, but Discount reinstalled it for free, ha.

Yup, can't stand the whole full serve non sense. They even put the gas in gas cans for you.

Default Rebuilt rear drum brakes on my '97 XJ, can't find

where the growling noise is comming from. Brakes work fine, but when I turrn even a little it sounds like the shoes are dragging. I just don't get it. Wondering if the anit-lockers are doing something funky.

You can get the hardline from the front to the rear softline, like 35$ pre bent at the dealership. Saves SOOOOO MUCH TIME.

Yup. Is what I did. I don't care much for bending and flaring myself

I enjoy the bending and flaring part,it is easy when you have the proper tools. It is the fitting the freaking thing in that is a pain

At least if stayed together long enough to get to a shop and replaced. Did not ruin the rim either.

I was thinking the same thing but I called my local dealer and they said they couldn't get it anymore. Guy must have been a moron. I plan to do it this weekend so I'll just do it the old fashioned way!

I got the same story for the manual shift valve rod, not available anymore. That is why I did a transmission swap a couple weeks ago. I figured if I had to tear down both the old and replacement to get the rod I might as well just put the replacement transmission in. All this because the PO thought the loud ticking noise wasn't a problem. All 4 flexplate holes looked like smiles and one had little cracks to go along with it

Oh well i have a transmission with 75K fewer miles on it now, but it looks like I might need a new TCM

Rear power window stopped working the other day. Finally took the door panel off, checked the connections, looked for broken wires, took a multimeter to it, listen for the motor...nothing. Got super frustrated so I banged on it a good bit, and reconnected everything. Then it worked.
I'm really not good at this troubleshooting thing.
