Replaced saggy leaf springs. She sits level now.

You should be able to lower the harness a bit and gain that clearance. That's what I had to do and it works perfect

Met a guy while getting my XJ inspected that sold me these for $50. He owns a nearby junkyard and said they came off a Cherokee but didn't know the year. Figure I can fab and weld some new brackets to ensure fit.

Maybe just a small crack in a fitting or rip in a hose. Hope it's nothing too serious

Replaced the trans mount and exhaust hanger insert. What a total PITA. Crossmember was rusted almost in half, had to weld plates, drill new holes, tap out a broken bolt in the frame, had to cut the mount in half with a sawzall. I expected this to take an hour, and it took 4. At least the exhaust isn't thrashing against the crossmember anymore. Woo!

Maybe I should make that switch for my upcoming oil change with the cooler weather instead of 15w-40

Mine actually developed a top end tic and bottom end knock when switching lol. I don't blame it on the oil though...figured it hasn't been maintained very well its life..still it cranks and runs on the first turn.

Oil change and overall hands-on inspection for the 3 hour drive upstate tomorrow to do some shooting and light off-roading. I decided to go with Rotella T5 10W30 but thinking I probably should've went with 5W30 as the temp. is dropping.
