What did you do to your Cherokee today?

Make sure you pick up some new O rings too. When I first pressurized the system after having the Heep apart for the summer, it turned into a geyser from the fuel supply and return fittings.

I replaced the o-ring when I put put the manifold back on. The leak was because the original rail had rusted out. I am guessing that when I used the disconnect tool I popped through a thin spot.

My 98 has a Mitsubishi starter, it is all part of the Chrysler Mitsubishi partnership. Pretty much anything made during that time will have Mitsubishi electronics.
So far today I have changed out my fuel rail, and under initial test there are no leaks. So far all I have done is turn the key and purge the air from the system till I had fuel come out then I started it and gave a quick look for the unleaded sprinkler, and shut it off again.
Right now it is sitting with the hood up letting any spillage from the swap dry up then i will check for leaks again.
Next on the list for the day is to change out the TCM. It should be much easier now that I can move the Jeep and be able to get the drivers door opened all the way

I tightened all 3 nuts on my track bar which fixed a rattle that my jeep has had since I bought it 4 months ago and I'm ecstatic about it. haha

Success, no leaks, no codes, but I still need to tighten up the exhaust a little bit.
Installed JY fuel rail and TCM today with almost zero cursing and swearing. In other words it went smoothly, because it is rare that I don't curse or swear when working on a vehicle
