Not today but yesterday. Went wheeling with my buddy in Big Bear. I was surprised on how much flex I got from short arms and how good I did with only 31's. Here's a few pictures.

New (to me) tires and wheels. Went from size 225·70·15 on stock snowflakes to 235·75·15 on some cragar soft 8 look-a-likes that my step dad painted black when he had them on his wj. I'm not sure what the back spacing is on the new ones but my tires stick out about an inch past my flares. Looks great, I'll get some pictures up hopefully tomorrow. 👍

Had a mechanic friend over today, He tested my cooling system.. its official head gasket leak. so he's going to come back first part of next week and for a nominal fee take the head off and see if it s warped.

Got it inspected / emissions testing done. Then aligned it . While doing that I managed to shear the 8 month old tierod end that was not seized. Just a simple twist of the rod end and snap
I must say Moog's quality has gone to **** lately

I've tried the napa ones. They seem rigid. They have the premium version

Swapped in my used column for the stolen recovery unit that came in it. Cranked it for the first time with a key instead of a flat blade screw driver.

put a temporary fix on the rear uppermost freeze plug. a little high temp jb weld held up pretty well. planning on a motor pull in a couple weeks to replace all plugs with brass, complete flush of cooling system, brown dog mm, and might as well slap on a new belt.

Awesome husband
He took on my 97 Grand Cherokee limited as a project car. He has repaired or replaced just about everything mechanical except the actual motor. We are also fixing up the outside with custom paint to wheels/side panels/bumpers. It runs and feels like I have a new car. I'm very proud of him! Thank you.
