Nice! Ordered.

I was just a bit stumped because I could swear the back end of the frame behind the bumper was solid when I was looking, but I havent taken mine or another one apart yet, so I didn't really get the best look at it. With all the hitches I've installed I had never run into that.

And yes, I never re-use hardware like that... That was more of a poor attempt at humor. I have so much brand new grade 8 stuff stashed away I could start my own hardware store.

Thanks for the info Salad, I really enjoyed reading your motor oil write-up as well!

Edit: found the video on the product page... Makes more sense now.

Nice! Yes once the bumper's off you can see the slots where the nut stip hardware is slid in.

Sarcasm eh? One never can tell... There's some real sketchy stuff out there!

Glad you liked the read.

Rust repair on the cheap. Homemade panels. Thanks Dad!

Finally got rid of that god-awful factory cassette player, and no more airbag light (I pulled the dash bulb). Got a lot accomplished on my pile-o-jeep this week. Woohoo.

I'm so glad I live in CA and don't have rust problems. Took an hour or less to change the hub bearing.

New mats and a new intake manifold. Found a weld on the stock intake.
And finally plugged in my ultra gauge. When I took the pic of the ultra gauge I had a mini heart attack thinking I was getting 72 miles a gallon and no. Looked again. DTE

Nice, I dig the pressure guage on the fuel rail. Howd you get the intake so clean? I need to take mine off to fix my leaky exhaust, swap injectors, do the vcg, etc

Repaired a leaky EGR tube connect at the header, not quiet but quieter, added 1/2L 10W30 slickem, took the dog to town on a mission of mercy (my daughter had a tragic knee injury with a pack of running dogs, she is recovering and needed some hot chocolate).

That is one ugly weld.

I look forward to the day I can get my engine bay as clean as that!
