Lawlz. My 98 would do that to me all the time but very slowly. Basically, I'd be back there doing stuff and by the time I was done, I couldn't leave...
Picked up some different wheels/tires. 31x10.5 Geolanders ATs on 10 hole OEMs.
I've dealt with Geolanders before and loved them. Initial impressions on the XJ are they are lighter and SO MUCH quieter than the Guard Dogs. I also like the look better - I really wasn't a fan of the eccos being blacked out.

My Guard Dogs came on Geolandar carcasses.
I like them, but they are a tad noisy. I may look for something different next time. They have their pros and cons.

I might try the heat gun but I'd have to buy one. I've sprayed goo gone on it a few times but I really just need to spend an afternoon taking my time with it. I was told about an adhesive removal wheel that attaches to a drill which I might pick up.

The adhesive removal wheels work very well, but don't push very hard and let the wheel do the work for you.

I would have to agree with these guys, I find the black made the paint pop better. As you said though to each their own and it is your Jeep so what does it matter what 3 complete strangers think

Changed the old Oring gaskets in the oil filter adapter. Or I should say I helped my SIL change mine, he did 99%. Drooped the suspension, disconnect motor mount, manipulate engine position...every millimeter of space is at a premium...WHEW!
