Picked up some different wheels/tires. 31x10.5 Geolanders ATs on 10 hole OEMs.

I've dealt with Geolanders before and loved them. Initial impressions on the XJ are they are lighter and SO MUCH quieter than the Guard Dogs. I also like the look better - I really wasn't a fan of the eccos being blacked out.

And before you say anything, yes, I know. That trim adhesive is embarrassing...
Use goof off to get that glue off

To each his own I suppose. I just don't really like black wheels. I really did it for the tires though. I wanted something more jack of all trades versus the one trick pony Guard Dogs.

I still have the MTs and would like to do a back-to-back comparo at Windrock. I've got a little trailer so it could happen.

Geolandar ATs are hands down some of the best performing all-terrains I've ever used. Fantastic road manners as well.

I have both........LOL.
My Guard Dogs came on Geolandar carcasses.
I like them, but they are a tad noisy. I may look for something different next time. They have their pros and cons.

I might try the heat gun but I'd have to buy one. I've sprayed goo gone on it a few times but I really just need to spend an afternoon taking my time with it. I was told about an adhesive removal wheel that attaches to a drill which I might pick up.

The adhesive removal wheels work very well, but don't push very hard and let the wheel do the work for you.

I would have to agree with these guys, I find the black made the paint pop better. As you said though to each their own and it is your Jeep so what does it matter what 3 complete strangers think Also what do I know, I own a purple Cherokee and think it looks good

Haha, the paint "popped" better because I took that photo on a dedicated photo shoot in perfect weather and lighting conditions in Miami immediately after I washed the old girl.

I need to do the same thing again soon.

Changed the old Oring gaskets in the oil filter adapter. Or I should say I helped my SIL change mine, he did 99%. Drooped the suspension, disconnect motor mount, manipulate engine position...every millimeter of space is at a premium...WHEW!
No drips, no runs, no errors. Now all my T6 will be inside the engine.
