installed my Rock Shifter, which is BadAzz by the way, and got my shift rail and and switches from RADesignsproducts.com.
Rory is an awesome dude and a great guy to deal with, he GAVE me a Rock shifter! Just so he could make sure the install in the newer XJ went smooth as butter.

started the build on my front bumper. Gosh darn I need a plasma cutter. Using a circular saw to cut 1/4" plate takes way way wayyyyyy to long.

Oh and I managed to warp the 33" long piece of 1/4" that is going to be my winch plate so I had to put it between two spare LCAs I had laying around and jump on it till it was square again. Given I'm learning lots and lots and lots and having a blast. Its just taking way longer than I'd like. Anyone wanna lend me a plasma cutter?

I'm in the same boat. But all I have is a pneumatic cut off wheel. So I can cut for about 10min then have to wait for the compressor to refill.

Changed out my worn out motor mounts (drivers side was trashed), which cut down on a lot of the vibration I was getting. After changing the mounts my once in a while sound it was making in reverse became an everytime occurence, with the help of my son, he discovered that as it went into reverse the engine was shifting to the right and the mechanical fan was hitting the A/C line, we reattached the clip holding it to the other line and pulling it away from the fan and put a piece of rubber hose over where it had been rubbing. Hoping the hose over the line will buy us some time should we hear the noise again, and spare the cost of a new A/C manifold line.

Spent 1.5 hours cutting my front bumper off... what a PITA

Then went wheeling for 8 hours on the way home we saw bright flashes in the sky and followed them. Ended up getting to watch some great fireworks.
