I moved my CCV intake from the CAI tube to a standalone breather. The crank vacuum levels are pretty weak and I think they were being overrun by the intake vacuum in some situations (eg, engine braking). Having both sides of the CCV under vacuum may have resulted in a vacuum leak through the valve cover gasket, which is probably the origin of an oil leak at the gasket. Now that the CCV flows easily, I can fix the valve cover gasket.

Changed the oil. Trying Rotella 15w-40 that I've been reading about. Did a tune up. Installed Bosch wires, Accel cap and rotor and copper core plugs. Cleaned the TB. Idles and sounds much better now.

Might try a set of 703 injectors and bored TB. But I've heard 703's run rich at WOT on the later models. Any thoughts?

15w40? Isn't it winter in Delaware?

Nope. They have the ability to deliver more fuel than the factory injectors on all models, but all models will dial back the fuel with feedback from the O2 sensor. Half the people who install them see an increase in fuel economy as their old injectors were dirty - the other half see no change.

Flushed the system for the third time. (2nd after running distilled for a couple days) was satisfied with the output so decided to "fillerup" with 50/50.
Adjusted the throttle cable, figured what the hell.

Setup a little garage today, an flexed her out a good bit.

Found out why my mechanical fan is hitting my crank pulley. The rubber piece in between the 2 pieces of the harmonic balanced is all messed up. But i'm not too upset about it. $40 bucks later i have a new one and i attempted to put it on in the parking lot.

JKS crossover shock mount installed. Straight forward install except the damn factory nuts. Exhaust is turned down in front of axle for the time being. Rides great, much much smoother.

Tried to figure out if I liked it with the end Caps off but couldn't decide so I put them back on. I took my plastic fender well cover thing off and im worried about mud and water going inside the quarter panel now. Do you guys have any opinions on the bumper and or the fender well

Mine has the end caps off and it doesn't bother me... but mine's not quite as nice and shiney as yours either. As far as the removal of the fender wells, go to walmart, get a pool noodle, cut it in half, and stuff each half up into the fenderwell on both sides of the jeep. Stuff the one end of the noodle at the bottom of the quarter panel and just keep stuffing it up and around the top of the fender. I've had mine in for about a year now and it seals it so well, I don't get sand, water or anything else my tires kick up in my door jambs or on the hinges anymore.
