Summer is here and I no longer have to worry about keeping her in one piece for a winter DD. I got to take her out to the local ORV Park and that was pretty boring so I ended up spending the weekend an hour away in the mountians of northern Idaho...
I had a blast but the front end doesn't seem to grab like it should... Full time indicator flashes and the front left doesn't seem to pull like it should in 4 Low.
All in all, VERY HAPPY with the way she works considering that I only have $250 into the purchase and making her run! Man, now I have the feaver for working on the suspinsion and getting her of the stock rubber!

Backed it off the trailer from the ride yesterday and started thinking of a new way to make an upper control arm that I won't break a third time. Ripped a piece of 1/8" wall tube in half.

well...me and my buddy garrett changed the transmission fluid and filter...took us a couple hours BECAUSE the dipstick piping broke and we used rubber tubing and hose clamps to fix it, worst thing i've messed with on my xj is the transmission filter. dirt in our eyes the whole time, it just kept coming...

yanked about 40' of extra wiring for a sub/amp set up the kid before me had in...it wasn't even hooked up, and didn't even have speakers when i got it! Also took care of a few vacuum leaks, and now i don't get a crazy high idle at start-up!
Coming up next: welding passenger door hinge back onto body, then modifying hinges to go doorless for the rest of the summer!!
