Why a bypass instead of OBA? Just curious, cause I assume you considered it

It appears to have been the distributer. The inside plate was cracked/damaged and there was an issue with the shaft. Damn. It was some special whoopdie-doo distributor I got from Summit a couple of years ago. Dropped in a new regular distributor and it seems to be running smoother. Gonna let it run and let the ECU do its thing and smooth it out even more before we officially call this "done".

Hard to beat the stock ignition system on these Jeeps.

Glad to see you got it fixed.

Did the same thing last year. My clutch was shot and didn't feel like fooling with OBA. Once the entire a/c system was out I was glad I did it. Freed up a lot of room on that side of the engine.

Finished up the radiator install. Twisted the upper transmission cooler line that mounts to the radiator and it leaked, of course. Got the new one in and installed last night and now it's good to go!

265/75/16. Normally $244 each at sears. Went online and they were $161 each. The store matches their online price so nobody in town could beat it

Oh yeah. I need to replace that motor mount with the other brown dog mount I have laying around somewhere.

Picked up some hoses and a rad cap from the dealer yesterday. When I was there, I met a buddy of mine who had just traded his old truck in for a new Ram 2500. Since they didn't give him anything for it, he sold me his 50" LED light bar cheap on the spot. Great deal, except I got it home and discovered that it blocked both turn signals when sitting on top of the front bumper.
