Roof rack?

Thought about that. He had the truck-specific over windshield brackets. His complaint was a loud wind noise around the light.

On his new truck, my buddy wanted to get a smaller light bar and either mount it in the bumper or get a custom in-the-grill mount.

Just finished my 6hr drive to DE from school. Not fun in freezing temps and no heat. Maybe I'll feel my toes/legs tomorrow.,

Yup... Those are the ones. Yeah they're actually pretty heavy duty. I had to cut into my retainer rings though.

I didn't cut the retainer rings. I used the supplied "hooks" and spaced the grid a 1/2" off the lights i used 2 of the short hooks and 2 of the long ones. And they are pretty stout. I like em. When i buy TL in a few weeks theyll protect them

Used the hood as quick sawhorses for cutting some drywall. It wasn't the first time I worked on something using the xj. Love the broad flat hood!

Installed a new cooling fan shroud since it didn't have one when I bought it. And changed my spark plugs. These are honestly the worst I've personally seen, I would venture to say they were the originals with 158k miles on them.

If you can't tell from the oil on the top of the plug, the valve cover has been leaking for a while. Doing that next weekend along with throwing in some 784 injectors.

I know, right? The seller upgraded and needed them gone and I was in the right place at the right time. I would say about 60% tread left, enough to get me through next winter.

Why can't I be lucky like that? Nice score, bud.

I doubt a set of plugs would last that long. I left a set in mine too long, and didn't change them until I started getting a misfire code. The plug from #3 (misfiring cylinder) had worn away electrodes just like in your pic. The others hadn't started misfiring yet, but weren't far behind. I don't know how many years/miles they had been in there. Probably 60,000 at the most. I had changed the plug wires a year before that (misfire code from plug wires) but not the plugs.

I still have that plug set somewhere.
