The girlfriend wants to get an LJ daily driver and an XJ for wheeling, so I've been shopping around. I took a break this morning and started making a list to lift it.
I had decided on a 4.5" RE kit (RE6130) previously. I took a look at the new Metalcloak kit today since I love their products for my YJ. Neither kit is perfect, though. Both have single shear trackbars and straight control arms. For about $400 more than the RE kit ($100 more than MC), I've spent the morning piecing this together:
4.5" Lift
$1780
Coils: Metalcloak #7060
$190
Leafs: RE1462 4.5"
$320
Shackle Slider Boxes: LII + JCR nut strips
$290
Shocks: Bilstein 5100
$360
Trackbar: RE Double Shear - RE1660 + RE1665
$210 : $145+$75
LCAs: IRO Bent LCAs - IR-SHDCA
$130
Swaybar Discos:
$100
Brake lines:
$120
Ubolts:
$60
Of course the cost of an SYE and driveshaft will be added on whether it's a kit or a hodgepodge of parts
