DW is back after having my tires balanced on Friday. It happened a couple of times at highway speed on the way to RMS Off Road in Bohemia. The owner explained to me in great detail what is most likely causing it and I had to agree. The tires weren't new when I installed them and they weren't marked what side they came off of. He said I should be rotating them front to back so they are never "running in reverse". Also discovered a plug in one of the front tires so there's that. So due to low funds I am going to start by getting new tires for the front and hope that cures it. I will never buy used tires again no matter how good they look.

Did the following to the Comanche. Replaced the oxygen sensor, new cap and rotor with brass terminals, and plug wires. Checked the spark plugs and they are still good. Tested the coil its also good. Took cruiser advice and cleaned the connection while i had it off. I aso did cruisers oil cap fix. Thanks for the awesome renix checklist aka renix bible cruiser.

Half right, emissions tampering is a violation of federal law, but it is not a felony. It is a civil offense with a maximum fine of $10,000.

I talk to Mike this morning, he said he didnt do anything, I asked about why mine had NGK plugs right off.
He said He was seeing NGK plugs on just a few 2000 Xjs when he would order them. Mostly the 2000s that had Federal emissions only like mine. But then he started to see all 2001 with NGK. so hmmm, but I am the only owner of both my jeeps.

2000 window sticker.I could not find the 96 right now.

This is why I don't do that( how much would you pay for this jeep stuff).

I spent most of the day taping my camera to various places under the jeep to try and isolate some scraping noise that shows up at highway speed. Pretty sure its the front output bearing
