Did you get just the pump or the complete assembly? If you got the whole thing, can you post a pic of the bottom intake strainer? On mine, it was HUGE compared to the old one.
Once I pick it up I will. Complete assembly.

Reassembled the NP242. All the gear positions work like they should, so that's good. Everything is much tighter, almost has a preload feeling now, but no fluid in it so that could be why. Reinstall tomorrow.

Hooked a trailer to it and had some fun.

Also bought a second set of rear TJ flares.

That'll be project sunday to get all four put on to pass inspection for my repair order.

Gave the HD Off-road no lift shackle relocation kit a test and they do exceptionally well my shackle angle improved and so did rear flex and I still had more to go! I couldn't flex that much when my shackle angle was vertical What did you do to your Cherokee today?-image-411269060.jpg

on an XJ? Were they the same left and right? the 93-98 ZJs have a specific left and right strut because there is a notch on the interior side that a tab on the strut fits into. Luckily I found replacments on amazon...Strongarm was the brand. But I also had to find a socket for male torx bolts that I didn't see anywhere, not even online until I found them at Harbor Freight

They're the same on both sides, at least on the '95 and '99 XJs.

Mine were the same on both sides, I didn't have any problems getting the old ones off and the new ones on.

Make Torx, like the star was sticking out? Those are External Torx, sized by "E##" instead of a standard Torx's T##. Just for future reference
