Well the all thread and washers worked good it let me get the bushing in and was much easier than whacking on it with a BFH. Whew. Would have been nice to have a ratcheting box end that fit. As for the relocators there is no more shackle clap. Im pretty happy about that.

How much rust do your springs have? I used a 20-ton press.

Just surface rust from this past winter. Rusty's leafs are about 5 years old.

Drill out the rubber with a few holes and dig it out. Take a hack saw/sawzall and cut the remaining sleeve where the eye meets the spring. Then with a small cold chisel, starting at the cut, fold the sleeve in. It takes some force but once it starts it gets easier. Then it should come out. Worked really well this time. First time I did it I literally beat on the sleeve for hours before cutting it. But it eventually clicked and got it out. This was last summer.

Gluck.

It's true. 50' in to his field was totally dead. Crops were stunted and burned to about 200' away from the road. It's ridiculous.

Yes, a little closer than completely retracted, two feet up in the air lol. Pisses me off that we pay fuel and wages for them to drive around in giant snow plows just to show them off. It's not a ****ing parade guys. Then to add insult to injury, settlements for lawsuits arising from such irresponsible behaviour also comes of out my taxes...

So giver-take about an hour each bushing from removing and installing? I might do poly bushings just for the ease.
