Installed new 784 injectors. Broke a few of the clips for the connectors, so zip ties are making sure they don't come unplugged now.

Thinking about selling the XJ. I really don't need a 3rd vehicle the extra cash would be nice , and it's been sitting for 2 months just needing to swap in the new output shaft on the tcase. That I already have.

Drove to DE from pittsburgh and ended up snapping my lock key trying to unlock the hatch, I was able to get it out but now I need a new key..

This is the first key to snap and second to bend from the hatch lock, first time it sticking so much in warm weather though. Going to try and get the key remade and lube it using graphite and see if that helps. Also might try lubing the window tracks with silicone since my passenger side window always needs help.
Bought a 2000 the other day. Was supposed to be a blown head gasket/cracked head. Had a tupy laying around already rebuilt so I jumped on the xj for 500. Has 101k and in good shape but after pulling the head the #2 piston has a broke ringlid. Cylinder looks fine. A hone and a new slug and she should be back on the road.

Replaced the headlight switch and put connectors on the wiring since the plug was fried and they dont make new ones anymore. Pain in the ***, but all the lights are working again.

Went to AA and picked up pre flared with nuts hard brake line and bent it up for both front brakes. I also ordered the B. Lee offroad bomb proof steering.

There are Fastenals in both Cornwall and Brockville, but I gave up on them because most times I was told by Fastenal they need to order the parts/bolts/nuts I needed and it would be faster to just order on line myself so I just started going to Ottawa Fastener Supply. In the long run it is less of a drive to just head into Nepean than it is to drive to Brockville then turn around and drive to Cornwall, only to drive home empty handed.
AFS has a huge selection of grades, styles, and sizes. They also have great costumer service and someone to help you find that nut or bolt in the huge walls of fasteners they have. Prices are good too.
