Installed a viper coil pack and permanently eliminated my coil rail.....

That completes my total engine rebuild. Back on the road....

Yanked the seized a/c unit, installed an a/c delete pulley and installed a new serpentine belt to replace the one that popped on the way to get the a/c system evacuated last weekend.

Just need to replace the tire I blew in Moab a month ago and I'm back to a fully functioning rig!

Finally got it operating properly yesterday by a shop after a week and a half of being down.

Drove it an hour to school today.

I've been looking at pop-up tent trailers on CL. For around 1-2K you can have a comfy unit, with heat, a fridge, a latrine, 2 stoves, sleep 6-8, and can probably have AC and electricity for not much more...plus, then you dont have it on your roof when you're out wheeling...

Once my frame is plated, and the 3 link goes in, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting one...

The plan: get garage time this evening, degunk the engine, swap the valve cover gasket and change the oil.

The reality: get a sinus infection. Go to home depot and buy an in-lb torque wrench, than sit at home and think about changing the valve cover gasket and oil.

I call BS. Massive BS. For that price anywhere else I've seen, you get a rotten frame, slashed soft top, the fridge leaks more propane than the stove, and the whole thing smells like cheap tax-free cigarettes.

LMAO
I didn't say I've seen them in person, LOL...however...saw a Coleman unit on not long ago, for about 2K, and the reason it caught my eye is someone I work with has the same one. He got his for $2500 off CL a couple years back. And it's awesome. I'm sure I'll have to sort through some turds when I'm ready to buy, but that's a ways off, LOL

There's always got to be one of those. Like people who tell me there are rust-free XJs in the rust belt...

(Although, on Sunday the wife and I spotted a PRISTINE MJ. We're talking brand spankin' new. Must be a summer toy. She thinks I creeped the driver out with my staring)

Were you around Shippensburg, PA? If so, that might of been my buddy. He has three and one is his show and pride Jeep with a sweet paint job.
