been thinking about those but I wonder if they are too heavy, a lot of RS stuff is over-the-top, especially considering some competitive products are 10-ga... what do you think, too much, or just right?
Drove around. I really love my new axle combo on the 5 speed. D30/D44 3.55 gearing on 31" tires behind the AX-15. The jeep feel like it got more power to it and the mpgs's increased.
Now that the local wheeling season is over, am attempting to rid the raingutters of rust. The outside lip makes it difficult.
Ground it off with dremel grinding wheel and metal brush for drill. Primer and painted with factory match urethane and clear-coat. (paint code is on driver door)

Pure beef. USDA GRADE A
I went and picked up the fronts and rears from Max at DBO, the RS had to ship. When I picked the fronts and rears up, they are very nice quality, but I thought they were a tad on the thin side...but I figured any reinforcement is better than none. When the RS ones showed up at my door I was thinking, "now THAT'S more like it!"
Yes, they are thick. But I like that, you're reinforcing the structure of the vehicle. Overall I'm satisfied with both so far. Real test comes on install and use. Still gathering some pieces for the suspension, I want to do it all at once. Still need springs front and rear, brake lines, shocks, and shackles. Have the stiffeners, RK 3-link, Serious OTK 1 ton steering and OTK trackbar. Starting to get chubbed out, LOL
My 6 inch Metalcloak coils came in today. I picked up the TJ/LJ set. Just from the ride around the neighborhood they are super smooth. From the top of my axle to the bottom of the (frame) I netted 14 inches with these. Pics now. The comparison pic is with my old IRO 5.5 inch springs.
I finally got around to posting some work done to my rig.

1995 F-250 Swaybar Link. RC 3 inch coil and N2O Shocks.
New RC Steering stabilizer from Amazon. All new drag-link, rod-ends, swaybar links, and bushings were from RockAuto.com
The last piece in this puzzle to be replaced will be the OEM Trackbar to my new adjustable RE Trackbar. TBD
DONE - At least for now...
In the last few months I've been slowly building my jeep from budget build ideas to junkyard treasures. Here's what I finally got around to doing last weekend. I replaced all of my steering tie rod ends, new drag link, new steering stabilizer, new sway bar links, new sway bar bushings, replaced the front rotors and pads. Did the alignment and all.
I had problems that occurred after all the changes but was finally able to hash them out, but I still get a strange wobble/shake over 55mph. I've been around in this forum reading and researching the faq's. Thank you all who have provided DIY's and other sharing experiences. Eric Zappe books and sharing experiences. Anyways, here's my DD, still have a little more work to do on my 2WD.

I see you, too, have the front driveshaft-less option on your jeep as well
