Posted it in my build thread last night, but forgot to post it over here...

No pics, but I cut 3 sides and the lid off a washing machine for some sheet metal. It's about 1 gauge thinner than the OEM floors, but it should still work. My biggest challenge is going to be welding it without blowing holes through my floorboards.

Also finally got around to throwing in the 6.5s that I got on ebay. Moved the 5.25s to the rear hatch until I get the sound bar wired up and installed. Couldn't believe the sound difference. I'm really glad I went with the 6.5s. Didn't have to modify anything either, just used the screw holes closer to the middle of the speaker instead of the outside screw holes. The cutout on the door and panel were fine as well.

They sound GREAT!

Took it for a short detour on the way to visit some family today, some tight trails on the banks of the new river. First time out since the new 2 1/2" superlift lift install, did great. I also learned the horrible spotting skill the soon-to-be wife has... told me the rock was close but only hit the tire

Making me rethink the upcoming wedding lol. Got my first battle scar on my jeep today. Thanks babe

We finished grinding down the axles over the past week, got the new perches set up, and started welding today.

Saw on Craigslist today, a XJ was for sale in my town, it had an aftermarket bumper on it and he said he ll include the stock bumper with the sale.... I decided to email him and asked if I could buy the bumper off him... In an hour I picked it up

Started on the headliner I picked up for the new xj. Popped a wire wheel on the cordless and went to town on the leftover foam and adhesive, came off wonderfully and only took a half hour. Now to find some proper fabric and get that finished. Also moved my three switch panel with my USB charger over and installed my head unit, now I will at least have a little music until I get all my speakers wired up. Still need to relocate the CB, but I won't need it for a bit anyway.

Also, got to take the lady for her first ride in it. Looks like I'll be picking up a foldable step stool

Can't wait to start cracking open the diffs and doing all the fluids!

Quick question. Where do most of you tap into power for your CBs? This one was wired into the radio harness, but I'd prefer having the radio in the dash and the CB elsewhere.

Wire the positive to the battery, and keep the ground wire under 20"

I ran mine straight off the battery and same with the ground. I seem to have less interference. their are people on here who know alot more about it though.

So I did some really interesting fab and I will probably redo some of it here soon, the top (body mount) is metal from a road sign post that I bought from a recycle place. I cut the mount at an angle up next to the body and used the cut off as a washer plate to sandwich the body panel. But I will be rebuilding this with out the angle and just using another pice of metal to create the sandwich.

Most of my day was spent in the repair and replace of parts. I did the altinator, and removed the manual fan and replaced it with a switched fan that I pulled off my 90, so now I have a thermostat powered fan a fan that I can turn on at will.

You replaced the clutch fan with a second auxiliary electric fan from an XJ? Think again. That won't pull nearly enough CFM, and you're gonna have cooling problems at idle
