You purchased the rubber ones, correct? I'll watch for your post-install impression.

Since we're on the topic, I have Brown Dog poly mounts in my Wrangler. I love them and have no complaints

It was the many positive comments like yours that helped me make my own decision and choose the Brown Dogs.

I also "bombed" the interior/air conditioning system today with a product made by Meguiar's called "Whole Car Air Re-Fresher". Been using it for about 7-8 months now in the Jeep and the wifes Honda Accord. It flushes the air conditioning system/vents of odors very effectively and for $7 a can at Wal-Mart it's a great bargain.

Drove the '95 to work this morning so I could haul stuff to the recycler on my lunch break. When I got there, I decided to put the battery to the test by leaving the headlights on for 5+ hours. Hop in at lunch to run some errands, turn the key and much to my surprise, no buzzing, no lights, no cranking. Glance down and see the headlight **** hanging out in the ON position. Grab the cheapest #10 jumper cables I can find and a coworker to give me a jump and I'm off and running again. Drop the stuff off at the recycler and head to NAPA to order the only 272310 fan clutch in the state. Since it's only got one fan, might as well make it a good one. Left it running the whole time I was running my errands to boost the battery back up. When I got back to work, I found a parking spot on the high side of the lot and backed in, just in case. After work, I decided to see if the lot had enough slope for a roll start. It almost went, but not quite (granted that's also with a pre-primed fuel line).

I also came to the conclusion that my decision to remove the air conditioning to make fixing the head and cooling system easier was not the best of ideas.

Brown Dogs are in, man the passenger side is a PITA. Had to get my daughter to hold the wrench top-side while I tightened the "through-bolt" from below. Also changed the tranny mount while I was at it, the OEM pump-jack came in handy for once. The difference was noticeable as soon as I turned the key, everything felt tighter and more responsive. I don't know what else to say but that was probably the best upgrade I've done besides the rear disc conversion.

So the first two pics are of the regular operating temp for my XJ, and my hood vents. The third is the temp setting for 15 min not moving at the light. So to all the Nay Sayers, it may not be right but it works. As for my tire swing I'm pretty sure that I'm good with it too, pics to fallow.

Glad to hear you got those done and judging the condition of the OEM (?) ones in the images, they were overdue. Enjoy!

I replaced the NSS switch. My backup lights finally work! The zip ties were definitely the biggest pain!

Cut my hood. It looks crooked from the paint but they're straight. Now I need to attach the mesh material

With no money to do anything to it, I decided to do something with it instead.
