Went to the JY and picked up a fan shroud for the '95. Came off a Renix, but fit just fine. Replaced the fan clutch with one for a ZJ, and installed the shroud. May just have to drive it to work tomorrow morning to test my handy work.

The captive nut that attaches to ball for hatch struts, has given out. Had to weld it back on (weld = apply globs and boogers of molten steel).

I decided the bumpers and trim had enough abuse over the years. 91 degrees on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale (heat index 100 degrees) I sanded every part down removing years of spray and paint that the body shop sprayed on 2 years ago. Looked great for about a year and then it started to peel off. Went to Advance Auto and picked up some "bumper spray" for $6.00. Taped off all painted surfaces and after 3-4 light coats they began to look better with each pass. After an hour of baking I sprayed a final heavier coat and as you can see they look like new. Nice Sunday project.

Did a fluid change on both diffs. Front one gave some sparkle. Looks like the spider gears aren't too happy. The wear is super minimal and it took me a few minutes of looking to realize that it was even that causing the fluid to glimmer slightly. Time to look at either new spider gears, or a locker for the front.
I got to do a more thorough check of the new jeep. Looks like I'll need to pull the cross members for the L/A to pull the trans pan. Also noticed my t case has a small leak, so I'll be looking into a rebuild kit for that so I can do that while I'm doing trans filter.
I love how quickly the list of stuff I need to do grows... Oh well
