mine is currently in the shop for this now. Guy hit my hitch receiver and it bent my frame a bit. Called yesterday to check on status and the cost of the repair has doubled due to additional damage found. Apparently the rear crossmember is bent and so is some of the floorpan. $1550 so far.

Got my CB wired up and dialed in. Now I just have to run the cable to the back of my head unit so I can hear it over road noise

With a mates help we mounted a new set of 33" Bighorns on my 15x8" -10 rims add bag of balance beads and fitted them on the XJ. Over the weekend I'll trim the wheel arches and fit the flares.
Over the next three weeks I'm swapping out the diffs and fitting my rebuilt D30 & D44 with 4.88 gears and Lokka's. On the list is Rear Bar, Wheel Carrier, Slides and fabricate the Roof Sliders/ Basket, Light Bar and Flood Lamps etc

To date, this is still one of the best junkyard upgrades I've done with mine.

I've been sitting on the PCM, Gauge Cluster and the switch panel with an OEM Extended Idle Switch. Won't be needing them so if anyone does, this is nice little bundle of parts.

If you don't want the EXT idle, I'll take it?

Hosed out a years worth of beach sand. Replaced the smaller plastic storage with a bigger metal one. Removed the rear hatch lower latch to clean off the rust, treat it, paint it, then reinstall.

Finally mounted my new bumper from Creepy Fabrication. Definitely worth the price! Had to do some tweaking to get it on. Apparently the PO tapped something and pushed driver's side mount back just a little to require some adjusting. Tomorrow I mount new wheels & tires. It's coming together slowly but surely.

Yesterday: Took a trip to the JY, came away with -

ZJ Rear seat to get some head rests in the back for the kids.

Another Relay Box for extra lead connectors for the relay box I am building up for my switches.

A radiator overflow tank (turns out it has a hole in it, so that will go back tomorrow)

Two wiper squirter motors for the blown ones.

Today:

Aligned the front end so I don't need to hang on with both hands when I drive down the road (discovered one end of my tie rod is frozen!)

Hammered the quick-disconnect bracket back into position after it bent out a couple months ago.

Greased all the fittings on the front end.

Chased down a horrendous squeak in the driver's side drop bracket bushing and fixed that too.

Bought a new radiator overflow tank (all the ones at the JY had holes in them ), as well some washer fluid and self-etching primer. Washer fluid is for when I replace the wiper squirt motors, primer is for when my axle gets back from the welder with truss and gussets.

I figure that's a good couple days.

Next week I have a ton of projects for it!

Swapped out the super bright CRUISE LED for a regular bulb. At night, on unlit roads, the LED was just too bright

Two days ago I got into a front end on my part, I won the insurance because this dude stopped 20 ft short of the stop line and was on his phone according to a witness in the other lane. Got the front end re-aligned. Replaced my radiator with insurance money and painted my OEM bumper.
