decided to upload this weeks progress. Installed an onboard battery tender! works great! did a little cleaning (oil marks show up big time on white..) removed the UGLY 80's style gold pin stripes! and painted most of the gold emblems black, until I ran out of paint... Once I buy some more Im going to finish the emblems and paint the fenders to match!!! oh and I started painting the sun beaten trim, wiper arms, roof bars, door handles and mirrors!

Just about have the Transmission bolted back on...then we'll see if the Slave cylinder works finally...lol

Pulled and cleaned TB and hosed a metric ****ton of mud off the under body.

It looks like the weld didnt penetrate. When welding to cast, you must first heat up the area you wish to weld to, to about 300* and then your good to go.

well it wasnt today...it was last night...my jeep two other jeeps and a chevy got buried in the mud...but on the other hand it was today when we got out of the mud

cut out the rocker and weld in a piece of box tube.
