It's a speaker relocation discussion. He wants to listen to music, not wind.
When someone asks about throwing away their speakers then you might be of assistance, but until then....... no one cares.

Let me rephrase this. I still have my factory 4 inch speakers in my lower dash and put 6x9s in my back hatch for when I'm doorless, if I want tunes I can turn it up enough to not blow my 6x9s and still have OK music. But I choose not to listen to it when I drive doorless

FWIW...I run dual soundbars, and it's perfect. 6 1/4" Kickers in the front one and 5x7's in the rear. Sounds killer, when I listen to music. Which is rare...I'm one of those weirdos that likes the noises my Jeep makes, lol

I've 2 got 2 sound bars in my XJ. Works well up front. I had mounted them down in the lower dash but that spot is really only for tweeters. No box/enclosure means the speakers aren't performing to their ability.

First, thank you for being a Morris 4x4 customer. Second, if you ever want to bounce any questions off our Jeep techs, give us a call! They are happy to help. Third, send us a PM before your next purchase and we'll send you a cf promo code.
