Honestly I see those being more of a safety hazard than anything. You know what gators are? Not alligators. Those treads that come off 18 wheelers tires going down the highway. If you have your foot out on the highway and one of those hits your foot...... they aren't called gators for no reason. Other things as well. I mean do what you want but I'm just saying. I see those being a safety issue

Eh, might as well just keep the doors on all the time if that's going to deter me. If it happens, oh well, not like I'll be on the interstate with the doors off or anything, but when I'm driving around town with them off I always find myself resting my foot on the lower hinge area anyway so I figured I'd make it more comfortable.

I drive mine too. Every day. When its my daily driver, I have my doors on so I can run my ac with my kids. When I go wheeling, I run doorless through town to the trail and back. Each their own but I would never have my foot out of my vehicle like that while driving down the road

I daily drive my Wrangler without doors all year. I've never had anything bigger than pea gravel hit my foot, and it didn't hurt. That's barefoot with my leg out from Spring through the end of Summer, and my leg out with boots on the rest of the year.
My tires are more than willing to kick up anything I run over, my flares don't offer protection from debris, and I have run directly over a shredded retread on the highway. It made the Jeep shake a little, and I didn't lose a foot.

Got it a little dirty today. Kept the doors on though, I didn't want to have any gators appear and rip me outta my jeep. Also I haven't done the doorless mod yet, so...

Took the NP231 out of my jeep and swapped in the NP242. I got to say this, I love how full time mode feel with the 5 speed.

Replaced coolant today with a 40/60 mix, more water than coolant, and did a tune up with a Mopar tune-up kit that I snagged for just $50. I'm also running a colder Champion RC9YC spark plug now:

Coolant contains important corrosion inhibitors as well as raising the boiling temperature.
Out-of-range spark plugs can result in premature fouling, deposits, or misfires. (yes I know Renix uses a similar plug but that's a very different system from OBD-II)

Changed the oil for the winter, also installed some "I have mirrors officer please don't pull me over" side mirrors. Nothing fancy but they work
