I had been considering trying to find some lower door moldings to cover up some dings and rust repair, but one of the guys here recommended using truck bedliner instead since the moldings can trap moisture and salt, making more rust problems. I had used spray bedliner on the fender flares and they turned out nice. So I gave it a shot, here is the result:

I'm pretty happy with the results. Defects are still present but the eye is no longer drawn to them, looks real nice overall. Thanks and a tip of the hat to jswift716 for the suggestion!

No problem, just remember to keep up on it as you get more trail rash and it'll help a lot

Well I was installing poly bushings and I noticed A LOT of play in my adjustable lower control arms, guess it's time for the long arm upgrade

Today? Drove it. Hoped not to get stopped because the windshield is cracked all the way across but bought tools yesterday to remove it. Now deciding to tackle the floor pan before other areas to practice welding sheet metal.

Oil change to Rotella T6 5w-40 with Wix filter.

Removed, re-covered and replaced headliner. Used a very dark grey, heavy weight felt and Super 77. Hopefully it holds up.

On the long drive home from a weekend of wheeling, stopped for lunch and saw smoke billowing out from under the Jeep.... My TC output shaft seal went again, and real hard this time.... Fluid coating everything under the Jeep and a nice slick over the entire hatch. Picked up a new seal and started the process. When I got the seal out, I found the cause of all my troubles. The snap ring that sits behind the seal had a burr on it from when I had to replace the bearing. The fact that it got me a month and a half was surprising. Got the roto tool out and took the burr off and got everything put back together. Took the power washer out and got her cleaned up. I'll have to get a soap soak on the belly to get rid of the remaining ATF.

Made use of the rest of the sunlight and rotated the tires.
