I bought a new blower motor and a fan blade to replace the existing unit since it was periodically making a high-pitched sound like a stuck bearing and not putting out as much wind as I thought it should. Today I pulled the old one out and found a piece of foam stuck in it. Removed the foam and the blower works fine. Hooked up the old and new fans to a battery charger to see which worked better, and they work the same. Reinstalled the old fan, got to figure out what I'm going to do with the new stuff.

I did get the tires on the Jeep. Man 33" tires are a ***** to do on a manual tire changer..
Here it is.
did a few chalk tests and found out these tires like pressure at 24-25psi on an 8" wide rim.(Tires 12.5 wide)
This is at 25psi..Not to soft and bulging,, yet not stiff/good foot, just about right.. Im sure 22psi will also do good.
Ran it with chalk down the street,, Looks good at 25psi
Then this morning on the HWY they felt great, no off balance and the sound was very little compared to the MTRs..nice smooth ride.

relocated my fender flairs higher up on my '99 and even though I did the research and even after I used a piece of wood for back up... I still was able to drill a hole in the window washer bottle located just behind the driver side fender. but I was not satisfied with one hole so on the next hole , I did it again. flairs look good in their new location and lucky for me had a tube of plastic mender epoxy... so I mixed up a batch and patched up the holes... back in business. also did the cut and fold (beat into submission) on the pinch seam for the front wheel wells.

Recessed lights
Wanted to do something different, so I put my back up lights in the bumper. The Mickey Mouse ears were easily stealable and now if you want them, I'm gonna make you work for them! Took me a little bit of work with the Dremel but happy with the results.

97+ console swap
Finally did my 97+ console swap in my 96. I had two skinny ammo boxes mounted as the center console with the old E-brake but was tired of hearing from the wife that the boxes weren't stylish enough. The donor that I got was from a 2WD so there was no 4WD indicator bezel. To overcome that, I took a shift boot from a 93 Isuzu trooper, cut it to fit in the existing cover. I used the existing mounting brackets from the old console to fit the new console. The only thing that took me a lot of time was mounting the new E-brake, which I don't have pictures of. I've seen people using linkages to attach the ebrake to the E-brake cable but I didn't have to do that. The existing cable has an eye in it so I bored it out. Inside the brake handle area there, was where you would attach the Cable from a 97, I mounted in a threaded stud with a nut on one side tightened it down as much as I could on the inside of it and then I have the existing cable from my 96 I put a washer and a bolt on that side tied them together. I haven't had any issues since!
