I replaced the floor under my driver's seat yesterday. Hopefully I'll get the passenger's side done today.

Thanks guys. Looks OK but ... thank goodness for carpet!
Here's a few more of before the floor went in. I fabbed some 2"x6" rockers and tied them in to the uni-body frame.
This is a 12" long piece of 6"x1/4" flat bar. I had to notch it in a few spots to make it fit. Note the opening for access to the front spring hanger. I had to heat the threaded bracket with my O/A torch to free up the front spring bolt. I doubt I'll ever have to do that again but I decided to have an opening for future access if needed. If you look closely you can see where I drilled and tapped the plate for a 1/4" bolt that will secure a small "trap door" for access. The plate is plug welded from the top side and stich welded from the underside. This will also be a base for a future roll bar hoop.
To further tie the 2"x6" rockers to the frame I fabbed and installed some "out riggers" that I welded on from the underside. Each side will have 2 out riggers.

Looking good, however I have a small bit of constructive criticism for you...
Just take some cardboard and cut out the templates, them burn 'em in. Just makes the angle a bit less harsh. I just see those getting hung up on obstacles. Otherwise, nice job!
BTW, are you running stiffeners? Doesn't look like it, but I may be wrong...If you decide to install some later, no big, you'll just have to trim around those areas and burn it in...

roninofako - Good points but this Jeep is a daily driver and the only off roading it will see is at camp sites. My serious off-roading days are long over (too old!).
No stiffeners btw. Except for a section under the driver's feet the frame rails are in excellent shape.
Also, when I say "roll bar hoop" I plan to open up the roof. I will likely lose the front ceiling stiffener so I will tie the roof into a roll bar to gain back some rigidity.

That's cool, I understand not everyone does hardcore offroading. It was just an observation. Your work looks good!

Throttle Position Sensor? I drove mine for about 6 months thinking I needed to clean my IAC, but was just too busy/lazy to do it. Then one day it started sputtering and running really bad, quickly followed by a CEL. Turned out to be the TPS, replaced that and has been fine since. Well fine other than needing to do a TC over haul

Not sure why but with 9" of snow last two days I had to remove three feet of snow of the Cherokee. After that and shoveling the drive too tired to go wheeling. I bough this Jeep so I didn't have to shovel.

Rear brakes with new hardware, wheel cylinders, and drums. Replaced hard lines on rear axle, as well upgrading the rear hose to an extended SS braided version.
All because of my wheel seals decided to coat my brakes with gear oil.
Filled the axle with Lucas gear oil, bled the brakes, and drove her home from the warehouse.

Pulled a clean 242 case from the boneyard. It was a pain laying in 6" of snow, thank god for bibs. Picked up a set of 6 ton stands from good old HF, and then picked up a full set of GearWrench standard and stubby ratchet wrenches(early birthday present). Got my cross member flipped out of the way, and one trans mount bolt removed. The other one wouldn't budge with an 18" breaker or an impact. Gunna break out some heat after work tomorrow and drain the trans while I have access to the drain bolt. Hoping to have the old case out and the new one in and ready to get cut by Friday.

Flushed the cooling system on my 97, need to do the 01 this weekend. Ran out of time and sunshine to get to it. Picked up some Rotella oil and Napa gold filters for the XJ's and gold filters for the Yota's!
