Buy it back from the insurance company for scrap value. Fix what you can yourself, rinse, repeat. (I have a 90's F-150 that's been totaled twice and you'd never know by looking at it.)
Sucks that it was pristine, but nothing is forever. Glad no one was hurt.

Currently sitting in the waiting room getting new tires. Going from 31x10.5 to 32x11.5
Watched them pull her around and noticed my reverse lights were not on. After just repairing the NSS earlier this year.

Finally brought the WJ home today since my girlfriend's LJ was totaled. We have a set of Moab wheels from a JK with larger tires, but we had to borrow these to get it through inspection.

You've got some work to do. Looks silly next to your Jeeps.

Actually, that was her. I taught her well, and she actually uses the parking brake. But this is a commuter. When our financial situation is more stable, she wants a YJ to build

She got a cooling system pressure test (no leaks) and a heater core flush (plugged, fluid rusty as hell--now I have heat). I had suspected a stuck blend door but the tech swore it moves. And I do have some range from "warm" to "sear" which I didn't have before.
A cylinder compression test (plus new spark plugs to go with): 150/135/110/130/140/130. They told me not to worry, but I ordered a bottle of BG 44K in accordance with cruiser54's advice here.
