No way, dude. Getting an old Jeep to 100 is a feat that must be celebrated. Did you see Jesus?

My speedometer retaining spring broke, so it reads +30mph. But the truck will walk right up to 105-110 if you aren't careful.

Pulling together the funds to do new brakes and fluids for this 8.25 to get installed. I still gotta get a hpd30/3.55 to do the install too.

My plan is to find an 8.25 from a Liberty Sport. This would give me a disc setup and a lsd. But I just wanna get it in first, so I'll just refresh the drums for right now.

what I did was just take the brakes off a liberty and put in a lunch box locker. You'd have to weld on spring perches to a liberty axle. Also I wouldn't trust that the limited slip still works because they wear out and you never know how it was driven.

I plan to gut the Liberty axle to go in the XJ 8.25, so no fab work is needed. The lsd can be refreshed with new springs. I'll take what I can find, but I can only hope the donor has low miles. Auto lockers are just as prone to wear out in the same manner.
But being that my XJ is a Sport with a non-sport d35 swapped in, I'd really like to have the performance back that I lost.

Nope. LSD wasn't a common option by any means, and it certainly wasn't standard in the Sport. I don't even know if it was available in that trim level.

Call me wrong and then say "I don't even know", that makes a lot of sense.
