Finally had decent weather to do my oil change, and for a change I didn't drop the drain plug in the catch pan Still need to check all the other fluids and grease everything that has a fitting, but that will have to wait till tomorrow because it started to rain On a side note, changing the oil in gusting wind makes almost as much a mess as not using a catch pan

hahaha.... I've been there. The best is when you think the wind has died down, and just when you pull the plug, a huge gust comes along. End up lookin' like this guy:

I think he's taking a jab at the bro-truck crowd.. who buy trucks only to modify them to the point of being completely useless all the while making them appear to haul invisible loads (rear-end squat) and tow invisible trailers (tow-mirrors folded out).

Well I took off AC Delco's which were stock replacements and these are definately stiffer than a stock ride but still not too bad. And they were cheaper than other options plus they can also be mounted upside-down if you wanted to.

For a better ride I'd look into more expensive stuff like the Bilsteins and I probably will after a while and when finances are better

ALSO... Keep in mind my xj is almost completely stock so when I add the extra weight of aftermarket bumpers, trail & camping gear, etc... these shocks will give a better ride and might be perfect.

Wow! What'd you get? OEM replacements or aftermarket upgrade?

Managed to essentially finish the rear part of my lift kit on my XJ. Unfortunately had to take it to a local welding place nearby to have them finish one bit (cut off bolt before it was unthreaded). Extremely excited for this build!

OEM replacements. Anchor brand on Rock Auto are $3.97 each and i lumped them into another shipment of parts for my mother in law's jeep so it only cost me the $8 for the parts lol.
