Yea I did lolz I forgot. only because of the crappy MPG tho. I got tired of finding ways to increase the mpg. That's why I went back to stock. I got a 40 miles commute to and from work everyday. THe new one I bought is just more for around town. Not much driving and probably for the trails. I was going to hate my self if I passed on it later on.

Axle Swap!
My brother-in-law's XJ blew his motor recently. This means that it became my parts car! Sad but also a very good thing for me. He recently got all new struts and new leaf springs, a HUGE plus seeing as how my old leafs were super saggy and all four of my struts were BLOWN. This also means I got rid of my weak Dana 35 rear axle and upgraded to a Dana 44 monster! My front end was in terrible shape as well, pulled to the right like crazy and had a lot of wobble on the freeway, now with my brother-in-law's front end, sailing smooth and straight down the highway. Swapping out both rear and front axles in our own garage was the hardest thing I've ever done to my XJ to date. I loved it, had a great time and learned a lot. Check it out!

Rear axle: DONE<br/>Check out the different wheels!
Both axles swapped, transfer complete!

Started the front of my lift kit today. Attempted to unbolt track bar, snapped the bolt head .....took my angle grinder and cut off the bolt, then loosened up the control arms so I'm not rocking back and forth the jeep on jackstands while I'm under it. Hopefully making more progress tomorrow!

Yeah, the axle started pivoting from this position --- to \ that (viewed from above) while I was flat on my back. The only reason I'm still alive is one of the tread blocks on my tire got caught on the nut from my RE leaf spring's rebound clip.
