Rattlecan, Duplicolor Bed Armor. Pretty decent stuff, did the same on my old '92. Held up very well to all kinds of abuse.

Not as awesome as the real deal, but killer for what it is.

Used the same stuff for my gutters and it has held up for a couple years nicely. Very little fading in south Texas sunshine.

I removed the cup holder from the center console since it interfered so much with passenger legroom... No one would say as much but I was sitting over there the other day doing some cleaning and couldn't help noticing how much it stuck out.

Picked up one of those folding plastic Attwood cup holders from the marine section and made a quick & dirty aluminum bracket to hold it in from behind the dash trim... Not too shabby.

Even with a six-foot, 300-lb gorilla in the seat with it slid halfway forward it doesn't mess with legroom, and holds a man-sized tasty beverage securely through all manner of driving shenanigans.

Been watching your thread. Got some part numbers off of it as a matter of fact. Are your parts in?

Stupid me I was confused by the hub bolt head shape at first until I realized they're just 12pt socket heads. Wired brushed em' down and gave them a couple blasts of penetrating oil the night before and it went pretty easy all things considered. With both tires off the ground you can cut the wheel to expose the bolts and get some leverage. As a precaution I went back and forth a couple times on some to make sure none snapped.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get the hubs off and the axles out. Then I have to order up some parts.

I won't be able to work on mine at all this weekend but I hope you keep us posted on your thread, Good Luck!

If chemicals won't get it, spring for one of those 3M Eraser Wheels for the drill.

These pics are from the other weekend, haven't had time to post. First one is what it looked like when I brought it home and the Grey is Rustoleum Oil Based Paint cut with acetone. It is going to take several coats but I am please with it so far.

Yep, all my parts are in. Happy with price and apparent quality. Ball joints are bad on the driver's side, so I figure I'll do everything involved, both sides. I'll update my thread.

Happy wrenching

Rolling, lurking around here I found the link to the Rick Wrench Fifty Dollar paint job blog so I am trying to follow that recipe.
