Started my JKS adjustable trackbar install, but ran into trouble pretty quickly. I can't get the stock track bar out of the bracket. Cotter pin and castle nut are removed, but the bolt won't slide out of the bracket. I've used a propane torch and basically burned away the whole bushing, sprayed PB blaster over and over, used pickle fork to crank on it. Just can't knock this ****er out of there. Anybody have any tips?

made a quick-release setup for the front license bracket so it hangs over the hawse and protects the winch, comes off in 2 sec

Enjoyed it! Gave the tank it's first real shakedown run.
Up atop a ridgeline out near Medina Lake.
The road we WERE on, lol, way down there.
Picking my approach back down.
First test for the new toy, she did pretty well, even clamoring over a rock ledge that had me staring straight up into the sun.
Will definitely be swapping in the 8.25 outta the Sport. As the back tires skipped and bounced off a pretty good little boulder, my brain went straight to that puny rear-end.
Back on the road, the trans skipped slightly in OD from time to time. Cleared up by time we got back to town. So I'll do a flush-n-fill with some good fluid, and possibly go with a larger aux cooler.

Just about threw a hammer at it after finding out the PO didn't use a torque wrench when they last worked on the TC
I was torquing down the 5 bolts that hole the rear bearing retainer first 3 went fine, but I thought they seemed a little mushy for 24ft/lbs. Well while on the fourth one that mush turned to nothingness. The bolt snapped at about 15ft/lbs, and it broke flush with the housing. Now I have to wait till Wednesday, my next day off, to pick up five new bolts so I can finish the work.
Tomorrow I will be drilling a hole in the broken bolt so I can get it out. There isn't enough of it sticking out front or back to get anything on it, and just enough RTV on it to keep it from spinning out with the tip of my finger
No matter what the TC is in 3 pieces again so I don't get any filings in the new bearings, and I get the joys of buying a new rear output seal. The one I just put in came out easy enough, but it looks like it got nicked and the garter spring got a little kink in it in the process.

I busted my cherry today. I removed the drag link, tie rod, and tie rod end for the upgrades. I didn't have the right size ratchet set and it took me 2hours to realize something was WRONG Quick trip to Harbor Freight, and I was set (that 's what I thought). Didn't remove the steering stabilizer yet because I need a bigger wrench. Discovered the steering stabilizer was leaking. My track bar and drag link were saturated with a dark oily substance.

Helped Ron fab out a JK truss for his WJ axle. Got to keep the knuckles and calipers for my XJ. Since my XJ is no longer a DD I'm getting rid of the unlocking hub conversion and going back to the stock unit bearing/WJ brake conversion setup.

Emergency idler pulley replacement today.
Fun fact: If you Google "Jeep suddenly sounds like it has a supercharger" the results are actually useful.
