Poured water into the intake, exhaust seemed to smell funny when doing it. Seems to have smoothed it out some and can tell a little difference in power. Will probably do it again later this week.

Just started soaking u-bolts, brake fittings, etc on both jeeps with Aerokroil. Prepping for this weekend's planned rear-end swap.

So, does AeroKroil loosen up your rearend?

I flushed the cooling system: previous owner had put a 180 degree 'stat in it, and it wasn't quite getting up to temp most days. Plus the heater was pathetic, even when it WAS up to temp. So I did a major flush in each direction, and also flushed the heater many times in both directions. I found some copper plumbing pip that fitted into the heater hoses to extend them so I could get a hose onto them. A lot of nasty came out of that heater core.

It worked! Jeep now runs solid at 260, occasionally creeping up a hair and coming back down. Heater MUCH improved.

260!?!? It should be around 190!

should be 210, the thermostat doesn't even open till 195...
