The last two days I worked on the cooling system so that I can finally fix this phantom cooling system saga. Flush, rad cap, and picked up a new radiator for install in a couple of days. I am pretty sure that it's not the head gasket. Oil looks clean, there's no bubbling coming from the radiator, and the spark plugs look good too.

Nice, I have a 2.5gal tank that i will be using with my setup. i just need to figure out mounting and do the wiring. I have a very nice viair compressor that i got used from a friend because it's only rated for doing 33" tires and he went from 33's to 37's. so he needed a bigger compressor.

Well not today, but on Saturday I replaces my rear shoes, rotors and wheel cylinders on the XJ. Now if I can just get them adjusted properly I will be set........

Drove it in the rain a bunch,
Now I have a bad vibration when decelerating and engine braking
Might be Axle U-Joints, Drive Shaft U-Joints, or wheel bearings. All of those were replaced in the last 2 years though.
If it turns out to be a u-joint, I am going back to greasable joints

Did the valve cover gasket. Got rid of a good leak. The passenger side rear bolt wasn't even tightened and you could see the fresh oil on both sides of the gasket. I think it was even causing a slight intermittent vacuum leak.
I don't remember where exactly I saw it but whoever came up with using cardboard to keep track of the bolts
