Maxxed the 86's speedo out at 85mph. Three more mph and you would have seen some serious s***! Lol

Isn't the answer always 37s?

Too big for a 4 1/2" lift. I am thinking 31's since I want to keep the 10 spoke 91's

I did the floor board repair about a year ago but got tire of the loud cabin while driving.

yea, the carpet came with insulation and sound deadener underneath. The passenger side had an extra layer I'm guessing because of the exhaust heat. It's much more quiet in the cab now.

New battery cables thanks to XJwonders. Replaced the driver side brake line and straightened the hard lines some. I previously bought a pair of YJ lines and couldnt get them to work properly, the solid part of the line was too long for my lift.
Removed a few pieces to start the head gasket repair.

Happy to be basically finished with college so I can start some work on this Jeep again.

Hey twisted, or anyone with the Rustys rub rails, you think those are attached well enough to use as a step? Do they attach with self tappers?

Worst tire size ever. You have to build a drivetrain strong enough for 40s to reliably run 37s, but you don't get the ground clearance of the larger tires. That said, I run 37s cause it's the size I always wanted

Pulled the starter and taking it in to autozone for a test in the morning. I'm hoping that is what is wrong with it. I have done all the tests that the Chilton's recommend for the starting system and the starter is the only one that didn't pass

Nut & (Allen)bolt attachment. Yup, I've stood on em, lol, and my kids do it all the time. I was first worried it would pull out against the 1/4 panel, but no, seems all the stress goes straight on the armor and not the body.

I weigh in at 160 though, if you're a grown up Cartman, lol, may not have the same results.
