TBH, if I had something else to drive (other than my wife's car), I wouldn't have. Thing is back to choking again. I believe I need to drop the tank, clean it out, replace the fuel filter again, and PRAY that the new fuel pump isn't gummed up with crap. I shouldn't be continually having this fuel issue.

Packed the cargo area with tools, then after work I packed the backseat and floors with $200 of groceries since I was near a store.

Drug it back home from the shop. They told me the new APN header flange for the head is thicker than the intake manifold. Which i have seen happen before. So ill be ripping it off and grinding down where the bolts attach.

I had the same issue with mine. I trimmed a bit off the edge of a few of the washers and it sits flush now.

Used it to perform road rescue #2 in as many days.
Mazda6 hits a wooden pole sitting on the highway. Destroys the rim, tire, and rips out the wheelwell liner. So I run out there at 10pm, throw the donut on.
Today, the donut blows out. All the way the **** down in Von Ormy. So I go over to discount tire, have em throw a cheap tire on one of their goofy looking "custom" wheels. Toss it in the back of the jeep, and battle 6pm traffic all the way to Von Ormy. Swapped it, battled my way all the way back.
God bless my Golden Badger, she just purred like a kitten, ice cold AC keeping me cool and calm.

It's not the gas. I either fill up at the Kangaroo (large chain of gas stations) or the Murphy USA (also a large chain of stations)... been filling up there since I've had the Jeep. I don't go to the cheapy stores for gas after getting a tank that felt like it was full of water in my s10 at the K&K around the corner from my old place.
