After two different orders to Spectre, finally got somewhat of an intake on the jeep. Initially I tried the double elbow setup, but it was hitting the hood.
So I tried several different configurations trying to find some clearance. Eventually I had to cut down the 2 1/2 to 3" reducer on the throttle body to gain about 5/8th of an inch clearance. I could probably clear the double elbow setup with the reducer trimmed but I tried this simple setup and went with it for tonight.
There's a nice spot on the fuel rail to make a little bracket to hold it up. You can see a bit of the first little bit sticking up by the t clamp. Crank breather is venting to atmosphere for now. Might re-plumb it. Might not. I'm just psyched I finally have the stock intake out of the way and I can start getting this second battery mounted.

Fixed the rear hatch lock again... I don't think a zip tie is going to hold it. Does anyone know the right kind of nut to fit that thread on the threaded rod? (97+)
And.... swapped my sparkplugs back again. Never try to gap plugs without a gauge!!
I'd put new plugs in to try and cure a misfire, but made things worse. A new rotor cap and leads improved things back to where they were before. I gauged my old plugs when my new feeler gauges arrived and they were perfect, which meant I'd gapped my new plugs WAY too tight.
Now she's much happier!

Haha no worries. I've been collecting parts and drawing up plans for this dual battery setup for months. Finally starting to make some headway after new baby arrival and a cross country move.

Pulled my rear bumper today so I could address what I thought was surface rust...
I foresee a new bumper in my future!
