Happy Father's Day to all! My wife and kids gave me some new go fast mods!

What did you do to your Cherokee today?-image-3726046614.jpg

She almost cried when I told her that it was the wrong type of jeep on the tee, and she was so proud of herself on the find that, I told her it would be fine and I still like it anyway.

Now I need to find a good place to put the new sticker! ( not on my bumper! I'm not through welding on it! )

Default Boostwerks T Case linkage

I added the Boostwerks T Case linkage to my baby. Now to get the new console brace in so I can put it back together.

removed the rear carpet in order to see how bad my rust situation is. the worst part is around the wheel wells, towards the rear doors (can't see in this pic).

then noticed I was running low on coolant which might explain my overheating situation. I will do a flush probably this week, but wonder where my coolant went? I have a 96, oil cap and dip stick shows healthy oil, no leaks (most of the time in an interior parking, so I would definitely notice). I'll have to look further into this.

Remove driver's side shackle bolt with a breaker bar. Heard a few loud pops and I thought I was screwed. Able to the remove bolt without damaging the welded nut. Yessssssss!!!

Exact opposite for the front bolt. Use the same technique and that bolt was a spinner. Cut the bolt off with an angle grinder. Broke the weld on the nut. Grrgghhh....

factory cables are getting older. The terminals at the battery posts are getting really corroded. The cables get stiffer over time.

The newer cables are of better quality. Finer strands of copper mean the cables are more flexible and they have better insulation that's oil resistant. (Perfect for the leaky 4.0's).

Finally found a decent HP Dana 30 for my front axle swap. I spent today breaking it down and cleaning her up. Still need to change Ball Joints, Upper Control Arm Bushings, Axle Shaft U-Joints, and Unit Bearings
