I plan on adding end caps/corner protection, extended frame tie-ins, center point tie in( like factory tow receiver), and I will weld/fill in all the holes and grind/file smooth.

Later I'm going to add a swing out tire carrier. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Just got through lifting the rear and water pump, so my jeep fund account needs to be built back up!

Where did you relocate your vacuum ball? I have this dream of eventually finishing my bumper project and installing it even (sarcasm) and I wanna relocate mine. I know I have a couple of options. Just curious about yours.

I know I'm not him, but I have relocated mine and I just wedged it between the pdc, coolant overflow, and condenser (pretty sure that's what that's called).

Ha, great minds think alike...just stuck mine there too. Although heat exchanger might be a better word. The condenser is in front of the radiator.

How do you like it? I have a Trac- loc i rebuilt with the Yukon aggressive clutch pack so it pretty much stays locked more than it should but works great in this sand n mud for a 2wd. Rebuilding my old D30 to swap to 4x4 and was considering the truetrac.

For my application the truetrac has pretty much proven itself useless. When you need it the most it never works. On my next round of the Dana 30 I'm going to put in something selectable. I have a really good video of it somewhere trying to work on a rock crawling trip. If I can find it I will get it over to you.

All we have here is sand and mud so rocks aren't an issue.

It will definitely be a good application for that.
