If you have a hi-lift jack, bring it with you and see if they'll let you bring it in. Kinda heavy to lug it around, but worth it if they'll let you. (jackstands too, of course)

Great job, man. That looks great!

With a van beside me, I took my only option. Let off the brakes, and put her into the grass still going 55+.

She bounced, slid, jerked, pretty sure I caught a little air. Finally skidded to a stop, and pulled her back onto the highway. Rest of the way back she drove fine, but I'm of course gonna check her over tomorrow.

Hair raising as hell, but SO glad I was in the jeep. In my lowered mustang, that would have been disastrously less pleasant.
Crap dude! Glad you're ok!!!

Thanks guys, ya I'm fine, and other than a cracked bar pin eliminator out back, the ol Honey Badger seems no worse for the wear.

Any recommendation for using a Dremel, and what attachment/bit to use?
What kind of paint did you use? Clear coat?Color?

These rims are gonna be a B***h to sand. All the Corrosion is in the corners.
Hi dude, i started and finished with 220 sandpaper, no dremel used because you can feel imperfections better by hand, is a PITA but it worth, the paint i used is an ordinary semi-gloss black for chassis but the secret is to use a paintbrush called "camel hair", its fibers are super thin and gives a look like sprayed, and you must make a mixture with 60% paint and 40% thinner, i hope this helps you, cheers and good luck!!

Put a roof rack on, 32" curved bar on front and 21" on rear. I'll wire it up tomorrow or something. Haven't been able to work this week so I'm getting some jeep stuff done

That is sweet. My uncle had an SJ Cherokee way back when and it started my whole love affair with Jeeps. They also had a few MBs that they would use for hunting that I use to play in when I was a kid.
