What did you do to your Cherokee today?

My first winter with my XJ, I hit an icy patch and skipped off a jersey barrier. Had to have the front clip, front left fender and front bumper replaced. Some time after that, I had to change a front headlight, which sucked to do because the wires were too damn short. The turn signals were even worse. I later discovered that the body shop had zip tied the wire harness for the front lights to the sway bar. It's supposed to be attached to the back of the front clip below the grill.

No, buddy, that isn't a defense. You just gave more evidence that ChryCo doesn't respect their own history.

Finished replacing all the control arm bushings. Was kinda weird cause 2 of the 4 lower control arm bushings were made in Turkey instead of Mexico and looked different lol. All the rest look like typical bushings. Front end is a lot tighter now.

I took my dash cluster out to clean the connection in the back trying to fix the no bus / gauges problem. It helped but didn't fully fix so I'm going to check all of my grounds and maybe clean it again. Unless anyone knows what else could cause it. The spedo and tach will stop working and I can smack it and it will come back on, but sometimes everything stops working and it wont come on till it wants to. Everything else works normal and all of the lights still work.
No, I don't lick fish.
I said something about how the new Wrangler pickup shouldn't be called the Comanche because the Comanche wasn't Wrangler-based. Someone replied with, "Well the Dart used to be very different, too. Times change."

Not saying that's any better, by the way.... but it looks better than a KL-based comanche would. That's for sure.

I honestly didn't think that the Comanche concept looked bad at all, the Renegade isn't bad looking either. It looks more Jeep like than the new Cherokee does.
battery cakes..
aww that's cute. all this talk of fuel pumps has me skurred. something I noticed that should have no correlation - swapped/upgraded the battery cables now means no poor mans prime is needed. the jeep literally will fire immediately regardless of conditions. and I do mean immediately.
