Edit: oh yeah, finally swapped in a working NSS. Yay reverse lights. Boo not being able to restart in gear when it randomly stalls out...also bought a water pump for the project jeep and cap, rotor and wires for the XJ. Didn't have time to install them though. Gone for another work trip.

Looks easy enough. My question is a)my horn works but airbag light is on. B) mine is 94 model. Is it same deal or would it be any different

I ordered the part off amazon, picked up a steering wheel puller, and watched the YouTube video. It's pretty straight forward. Just make sure the battery is disconnected and be careful.

Yeah it was really easy. Mine had the same issue, air bag light usually on, cruise control was not working, horn worked fine. Yours is likely the clock spring too. I can't comment if it's the same deal for a 94, but I can't imagine it's too different from a 99.

Ok. Ill look into it a little more. Definitely dont want to get punched with the airbag....been there, done that. High school shop class, buddy was supposedly unhooked the cables to do something else, I went to take cover off of the steering wheel and got hit with the airbag I was replacing...... for a recall that they were overly sensitive.

I have to admit I was sort of nervous about mine going off. But I had my battery disconnected for probably half and hour before I started, and then treated it like I was defusing a bomb haha. It really wasn't too bad at all to be honest. I just followed this dude's video.
