And my little boy can safely get in and out on his own without risk of falling three feet to the ground or having to maneuver over rock slider tubes. And he loves the sunroof.
I love my XJ. There's many things I'd love to do with it, but sadly, the thing it needs the most is to be stretched between the back of the front seats and the front of the back seats. A WJ or WK2 would seem to fit the bill, although after renting one for 3 months, I was quite impressed with the 4Runner. Biggest problem with the 4Runner is that i'd have to sell my XJ and several internal organs to afford one

Right on. I wouldn't have either.

It was suggested that if I get a Grand Cherokee to try for 2002 and later. But 2K was the max budget.

I was considering the 4.7 but got scared after researching, and it had Quadra-trac.

$2,000 max was my budget. If I get something too nice, I will not be able to have 'fun' in it. But I doubt I will be jumping the WJ much.

Hard wired my dash leds in last night. Also got my alarm to turn off finally..... THINK I found the culprit. There was a switch type thing that was preventing my rear hatch from opening when i got the jeep, so i removed it.... well low and behold there was a purple and yellow wire that ran to it, so grounded it out and the alarm shut off.
