New brake calipers and hoses. Both 17 yo calipers were sticking, and the piston in one was really bad. The hoses came off easy, way easier than I expected. Going to have the rear drums done by shop, cuz I just hate messing with drums.
The catch was that one of the brand new hoses had a bad crimp above the banjo bolt fitting and leaked. Made in USA.....NOT. Cleaning up the puddle of fluid because I had moved the pan - priceless.

IMO you can cut out the old crap and weld in patches of steel. No need for a whole new pan yet.

Been a long while since I posted anything but I got the good Idea fairy last week and I did an all new MOOG front Suspension, had a knock as I was driving which was the U Joint in the axle shaft passenger side. I pulled both drivers side and passenger side shaft and replaced the joints. At this point I figured I would keep going since I had it already torn apart I replaced all my tie rods, the sway bar bushings, the sway bar links and hardware, and all new upper and lower ball joints. I also added a Rough Country N2.0 steering stabilizer and a new Moog track bar.
Next up new control arm bushings, exhaust, oil pan seal, thorough interior/exterior clean and pulling door panels off to fix power locks.

well over the past 7 days the 99 I crashed was scrapped, the 98 2door that rotted was stripped of the leafs and drivetrain, then scrapped, the 97 daily that died was sold and the 2k got 5speed swapped from the 98, the 8.25 with 355s from the 99, 4.5 inch leafs and 1.25 shackles from the 98, and 3 total spring isolaters up front because I don't have lcas to put my coils in. Harness was all hooked up and it fired right up first crank. I'm just missing a radiator. I still have to bleed the brakes but then I can drive it and go back to work. It does look a little funny well see if I can upload pics yet.

I was having issues with my jeep misfiring under load and medium throttle while driving. So I finally got around to replacing the distributor and it seems to be running well now. I'm honestly surprised that I found TDC first try, although it's not the first distributor I have replaced. Hopefully this one is quality.
